• This vintage horse brass focal is from England and was worn on the horse harness. The small knicks or scratches add character and are inherent to its usage and age.  Most Brass Horses were made in England, between 1860 and 1890 by casting, with commemorative horse brasses continuing in the 1930s and 1940s. Because of their popularity with collectors, horse brasses are made today for souvenirs, royal events, etc.
